Tooth Straightening

There are many reasons why your teeth may not be straight.  It is often inherited from your parents as well as being caused by accidents, thumb sucking or the early loss of your milk teeth.  Also, as time goes by, our teeth shift and can become crooked.

This can affect the way you look as well as the way your upper and lower jaws meet, which can lead to jaw and bite problems.

As well as improving your smile, teeth straightening can help you to avoid the head and neck problems caused by uneven bite problems..

At Clarence House, all our dentists are trained in a number of procedures to help straighten your teeth and are happy to explain them to you as well as advise you on the most appropriate ones.

Teeth straightening is often carried out in childhood.  However, it is possible to straighten adult teeth, which is becoming increasingly popular with the range of removable braces and invisible retainers now available, including Invisalign and the Inman Aligner.
